ある日、ブログ（mixiではない）で友人Aが落ち込んでいる事を匂わせる日記を書いていたのでメールで連絡をしてみた。

「ブログ見たんだけどなんかあった？大丈夫？」

「うんまあなんとか。詳細はmixiに上げてる」

mixi見なきゃかーと渋々ログインをしたら、アップされている記事は友人Bに対する愚痴と不満だった。BからAに対する仕打ちに驚きもしたのだが、限定公開でそれをB以外の全員に公開しているのにも驚いた。

AとBは、私を含む数人のグループで出来上がっていて、閲覧者はほぼ全員AとB両名とも友人と言っても過言ではない。コメントではAに対する同情とアドバイス、Bに対する不平不満が述べられていた。

その数日後には限定公開を解除してなんでもない買い物日記を書いて、Bも含む数名が何でもない事のようにまたコメントを返している。


ものすごい恐怖を感じた。


私と、他マイミクにとっては同じmixiなのに友人Bにはまるで違う日記に見えるのだ。

友人Bを含むみんなの目の前で声高に陰口を言っても、友人Bには決して聞こえる事はないのだ。

陰口だって同じ事だと言うかもしれないけれど、それを表の顔と同じ表層で述べられては恐ろしさが違う。


私が見ている記事は、皆と同じなんだろうか？

もしかしたらAには見えて、私には見えていないのかもしれない。存在しているはずなのに。
