補助金が欲しいために国家規模で子供にウソを教える運動が進んでいる。それでも最初は「森林はＣＯ２を吸収する」といった，いわば若干の言い訳ができるものに限定されていたが，最近では種が尽きたこともあって，露骨な「子供ダマシ」が多い。

たとえば，「温暖化防止のために電灯をこまめに消しましょう」と言った直後に，「温暖化防止のために電気自動車に乗りましょう」と来る．

学校の先生は生徒さんから，「なぜ電灯の電気は温暖化になるのに，電気自動車の電気は影響がないの？」と質問を受けてどのように答えているのだろう？

「先生，大量生産，大量消費がエコに悪いと教えていただいたけれど，電気屋さんに言ったら，大きな冷蔵庫の方がエコポイントが多かったのだけれど，どうして？」と聞かれても困る。

高等学校で使っている教育出版『新現代社会』の３４ページには，「IPCC（気候変動に関する政府間パネル）の報告によると、現状のまま放置すれば、2010年における地球の平均気温は1990年時点よりも２℃高くなり、海面は５０㎝以上の上昇が予測されている。」とある．

教科書に書かれている数字はIPCCの報告と全く違う。

IPCCは2010年ではなく，2100年に,それも50センチ以上海水面が上がるのではなく35センチ程度の上昇を予測している。

２０年後の海水面が，１１０年後の海水面より1.4倍も高いという数値だから，ハッキリと間違っている。でも教科書が間違えるはずもないので，意図的だろう。
